I had the shot but i have been lazy in posting it, great shot i was trying a three light setup. I had a 580 ex back left, a 430 ex back right and a 580 ex II in a softbox camera left

Day 24 Check out this baby bird!

Today i wanted to go to norfolk and shoot something different so i started shooting buildings, statues and some really cool sunset shots. Then i came across this little bird that wasnt moving to much so i got a couple of frames and moved closer and closer till i was at 3ft the min focus distance for my 70-200mm F4. I had got one light set up and went to put up another one but i think this scared him cause he took off hopping (he couldnt fly yet)

Day 17 Serenity

Last night i ran out of memory so Photoshop would not run properly. This is why i am posting this one late. I shot it yesturday so its still one shot a day just means i have to post two images today instead of one. hope you like.

day 15 What up smoke?

Long night with not much to shoot so i set up a backdrop and light some incense. These are like ink blots everyone see's different things when they look at it, but what do you see?

Well another one bites the dust! Day 14 down thats my 2 week mark and i havent missed a day. 50 weeks left to explore the world throught the iris of my DSLR (which is Canon) LOL.

Tried another HDR image to day, it was fun but alot like fishing. I was waiting for the sun to drop down to get that golden reflection on the buildings.

Indian festival @ Chesapeake city park

Figured i would go check out the indian festival today and see what they had going on. I knew there would be some cool stuff but didnt expect to see exotic wildlife!! day 7

Day 6 all i need is one light!

Well today i had alot of running around to do and tried to squeeze in some time to get that daily dose of photographic goodness on my sensor. found the location and setup up for the shot but only had 20mins to shoot and had to get home for the weekly trip to wally world (Wal-mart).

Day 5 how the week flies

At first the idea of shooting a picture a day for 365 day sounded hard but to be honest its fun and refreshing. It gets the creative juices flowing and the break from the norm is good. Day 5 it rained again so i grabbed the umbrella (the one made for rain not light mod) and went down to pembroke va beach to walk around and find something interesting to shoot.

So to day it rained and i still had to come up with a shot so i put up my back drop and some speedlites/studio strobe and started shooting. Working with kids is never easy but usually fun. hope you enjoy!

I'm forever blowing bubbles....

Day Three and im really liking this 365 thing! Today Elayna (my two1/2 yr old) wanted to play with her bubbles and i wanted to get something good for the Project. Tiffany (my wife) took her outside with bubbles in hand, while i grabbed a light stand, shoot thru and flash.

Today for my project i thought i would try some HDR images. I found this motorcycle in the parking lot and shot three exposures -2,0,+2 on the EV. Photo matix for the final post processing and removed some debris from the motorcycle and background.

Well today will be the begining of my 365. Last night i went out looking for that special shot, giving myself 30 mins to get it done. Well i set up my 580ex ii on a light stand with a poverty wizard (cactus triggers) and ebay umbrella. Everything was going good until the wind picked up and took my light stand to the ground bending the umbrella. I was able to get a couple more shots before it happened again this time breaking the 1/4 -20 threaded swivel on one of my poverty wizards. I wrapped it up and headed home for the evening.
